Five youth maximum per session to allow for optimal mentor time.

Each session includes all of the following:

  • Two 2-hour sessions each week (total of four hours per week)

  • Youth receive a Portfolio Guide for the chosen grade:

    • Language Arts

    • Social Studies:

      • 9th grade - Geography

      • 10th grade - World Civilizations

      • 11th grade - United States History

      • 12th grade - United States Government and Leadership

    • How to Scholar curriculum

  • Personalized mentor through all sessions

  • All grading completed by Lisa Mauer

  • All tasks tracked by Lisa Mauer

  • Parents invited to stay through each session, if desired

  • Youth learn the mindset and skills of a scholar through personalized and group learning

  • Youth learn the scholar skills of:

    • presenting to a group

    • participating in a personal interview

    • writing a paper in one sitting

    • taking a traditional test

    • taking notes

    • organizing notes

    • researching information

    • becoming an active listener

    • time management

    • participating and leading a discussion

    • and so much more!

  • Youth practice those skills while learning Language Arts and Social Studies

  • Youth prepare for college/university/higher learning through learning the mindset and skills of a scholar

  • One evening at the end of each 10-week course for formal presentations to family and friends

    • Fall Session - Anecdotal Stories

    • Winter Session - Speeches

    • Spring Session - Paradigm Shift Talks (like a TED Talk, but better!)

Introductory Price: $1000 per youth

By the end of each course session, your teen will have developed skills needed to create their foundation

for lifelong education, and to help them progress from student to scholar.
